My best friend Honey had come over for a morning cup of coffee and quicklly noticed my bruised and swollen lip and red rimmed eyes. She blew up as I knew she would!!
"HOLY COW!!! He did it AGAIN!!!"
She walked up to me, trying to control her anger.
"What happened this time?" she asked, softening her voice. She sat quietly waiting for my explaination. Of course she had heard it all many times before.
"I...well...he came in late and dinner was cold....I......we argued!!!
I didn't tell her about what happened afterwards...he had wanted to make it all right again...like always.........he had left that morning, his nostrils were full of my scent...I cringed at the memory of it. Honey waited for me to continue.
"How can anyone live with without him?" I cried, thinking of all the good times, our long history together, and blotting out the pain.
For a moment Honey said nothing and I could see she was trying to calm herself before answering..
"So how far can you go before you let him kill you?" She asked.
She had never been this brutal in her assessment of my situation before! Inside I knew she was right. I knew that if I stayed, one day he would kill me.
I looked at her hesitantly. "Honey, do you think I could stay with you for a few days while I decide what to do and where to go?"
She hugged me so hard I thought I would break in two!
"GOD YES!!!" she nearly screamed. "I've prayed that you would come to this decision.....I'll help you in EVERY way I can..." I was overcome with emotion!
I was afraid but also felt free for the first time in a long time! Honey looked around the apartment smiling. "Let me help you pack" she said "Don't worry, have faith!! This is best decision you have ever made!!" I sincerely hoped she was right!

On a beautiful day we decided to drive to the mountains, once there we took in the beauty around us. The tall trees, the noise the leaves make in the gentle breeze, the smell of pine trees, I wondered "how far can you go" until you are lost among the beauty the Lord has given us?

I asked my husband "Honey do" you feel the calm, the peace that I feel when we are here? He told me that he does, and he finds it hard to understand "how anyone could live without Him".

As we kept walking, it became cooler, more beautiful if possible, we stood on a huge rock looking out over the valley, when my husband yelled "Holy Cow, he did it again", look at this view!

We started our walk back down the mountain, when my husband said "His nostrils were full of my scent", when actually it was the scent of the mountains, the pine, the flowers, the beauty we just experienced.

For those in turmoil, "have faith", faith will guide you, faith will get you through any storm in your life. ◄◄◄◄◄@@@◄◄

Yes, I am a little mellow tonight, and in a calm state....

Have faith!

Well, for my most up-to-date tale, I was once motivated through television. Normally television conjures up me in any case. But this one is one of a kind. I was once looking Terra Nova on Tv, and despite the fact that it wasn't that excellent of a exhibit, I nonetheless noticed the skills in it. And then I made up our minds that writing a singular with dinosaurs could be so cool, and whatever so not like something I've ever performed earlier than. So then I introduced into all this making plans with a majority of these one of a kind characters, and it was once going to take location within the jungle with dinosaurs. Then I persevered the making plans approach and rewrote outlines. Then I began, and wrote a horrible establishing I ended up scrapping. And now I've obtained the notion down. And the humorous factor is, dinosaurs don't seem to be even a side of it anymore. So the object that rather motivated this novel, does not even exist within the novel anymore. It does nonetheless, nevertheless, take location within the jungle, however the notion is nearly thoroughly one of a kind from the fashioned motivated notion.

"How far can you go?" Mickey asked me. Mickey, Traci, Maria, and I were climbing rocks. It wasn't one of my favorite things to do. Did I mention that Maria looked like Traci?

"I'm stopping on that ledge," I said, pointing at a spot about thirty feet above my head. It looked big enough to hold the four of us. I was in the lead. I don't know why. The other three were much better climbers than I was.

"Honey do you need a breather?" Traci asked.

"Not yet," I said. I slipped, and a few pebbles crashed down on Mickey's head.

"Holy Cow! He did it again!!" shouted Mickey. "I'm a-want a hard hat next time we do this."

"Have faith! I'm nearly there," I called down.

I scrambled up onto the ledge. There was a grunting sound just ahead of me. Cougar. His nostrils were full of my scent.

"Cougar!" I yelled. "Don't come up!"

The pokeball was out of my pocket and dropping onto the ground of the ledge. "Persian, I choose you!"

As I went into action, I vaguely heard Maria ask Traci, "He's gone bonkers, he's gonna get et for sure, can you live without him?"

Traci answered, "How can anyone live without him?"

"Now what?" asked Persian. "Couldn't you have called one of the other guys out?"

"Hush!" I told Persian. "Scare away the cougar!" Interesting. I hadn't noticed it before, but Persian looked a lot like a cougar himself... lighter in color, and with an interesting black marking on the ears, but ... yup, he could probably be mistaken for one, from a distance.

"Who are you talking to?" chorused Mickey and Maria.

Persian advanced on the cougar. The cougar was lashing its tail warily. A moment later, the cougar scrambled up the slope and away from us. Noah's own tended to be deathly afraid of the things that had been on someone else's ship. That included most people.

I looked down. Luckily Maria and Mickey hadn't seen Persian. Traci was covering her eyes with one arm. I'd showed her Persian before, and Persian scared the stuffing out of her.

"Persian, return," I whispered. In a moment, the pokeball was back in my pocket.

His nostils were full of my scent.I had to run faster but how far can you go when you are running for your life? With all ofthe'honey do this' honey do that' I just can't take it any longer. I have to find a way to push him over a ledge. I must end this dictatorship. "Run, ellie, run faster" and with that thought in my mind I sped up and managed to escape him for a short while.
If only I could get him to a ledge, quarrel with him and shove him over. Yes, the end of a nightmare. I stood up running searching for a cliff. Breathlessly, I did come up to a small one and decided it was now or never. I stopped and waited for him. Tears streaking down my cheeks; this stand-off was the beginning of the new me.
He finally arrived and couldn't believe his eyes that there I stood; waiting for him. He stopped short of my position and leered in different directions thinking this to be a trap.
"Took you long enough to get here", I chided. He just stood speechless as I chuckled. "Why must you have me when all you do is demean me and make us both unhappy?"
He felt relaxed enough to step towards me and when he did I stepped up to him. With out-stretched arms I walked into his radius and BAMB that's when I hit him hard enough to make him lose his balance and stumbling he fell over the ravine.
I peered over and didn't see any movement out of him. 'Maybe he broke his freakin' neck', I contemplated. I was free at last.
Three weeks later, as I entered the city bus for downtown, I froze in my tracks. There he was, larger than life, sitting there and all I could think was, 'HOLY COW! He did it again'. He came back to life. Just have faith.

Wayward Nun
I was the oddest and the most foolish nun they ever had at the convent, I’m sure, but for some reason they kept me there and how Father Hathy put up with me was a whole different matter. Even my own Mother use to say” HONEY DO try a little harder if you want to stay in the convent at that church. I love to play the bag pipes, dance a gig, and wasn’t above sneaking out behind the convent for a few puffs on a cigar. Oh there’s nothing better than a good cigar unless it was a wee nip now and then but I was pretty good in that department. Some would think I don’t take my Lord seriously or love Him enough but I do. I MEAN, HOW CAN ANYONE LIVE WITHOUT HIM? I just think He has a sense of humor and probably shakes His head and laughs at me too. If not I’m sure He’d have me out of here by now.
At times I think Father Hathy was part detective because I tried so hard not to get caught but usually did. Last month for instance, I was on kitchen duty and he walked in just as I took one of those wee nips, and that very night he came back, which was unusual for a night visit, and caught me playing my bag pipes doing a step dance for two other nuns that snuck off to a room with me that wasn’t used often. Mother Catherine was with him that night and as she shook her head, Father Hathy said, “HAVE FAITH! I’m sure she’ll grow out of this someday. Soon I hope,” he added.
This particular day they both had a meeting to go to and we all had duties to do while they were gone. I did some of mine then figured there was lots of time for me to go and enjoy more than a couple of puffs on a cigar. I had twenty glorious minutes alone puffing away and still had time to get back in to freshen up.
I walked through the door and there he was once more. “HOLY COW! HE DID IT AGAIN.” I thought to myself. HIS NOSTRILS WERE FULL OF MY SCENT of cigar smoke. This time Father Hathy didn’t look pleased and said in a stern voice, “HOW FAR CAN YOU GO? Is there no stopping you Sister Sue?”
“I’m sorry Father Hathy; I just can’t seem to help it.”
I thought I could see a tiny smile on his face as he dismissed me to the chapel again,
but the next morning I was called to the main office by both Father Hathy and Mother Catherine. “It wasn’t a smile,” I thought, “I’m going to be sent away this time for sure.” Looking at their faces as I entered convinced me that I was about to pack my bags.
I tried to relax as Father Hathy started, “Sister Sue we found a wonderful place for you and your “special” talents.”
“I was leaving,” I sadly thought.
“The Children’s Hospital really wants someone to entertain the children. Would you be interested?”
“Id love to!” I said with joy refilling my heart. “This must be God’s purpose for me.”
“I agree,” replied Mother Catherine but Father Hathy interrupted, “You MUST give up those cigars.”
I nodded a firm “yes”
“Go with our blessings,” they both said.
“HOW CAN ANYONE LIVE WITHOUT HIM?” I asked myself. “We don’t have to, as long as we are doing right and the best that we can.”

Holy Cow!! He did it again!! Once again, he managed to have me practically begging him to make love to me. His nostrils were full of my scent. I saw him breathe in deeply and close his eyes for a moment. I knew what he was going to ask.

"Honey, do you love me? Will you love me forever?" My God, I thought, how could anyone live without him.

"Yes," I murmured. This was the first time I had acknowledged my love for him, and I could see the excitement in his eyes.

"How far can you go with me tonight?" He gently pushed me onto my back and stroked my blond hair.

Have faith, I told myself. I had to be strong and resist the temptation to give myself completely to him. I wasn't sure if he truly loved me. But he looked so good. And he smelled so good. And he made me feel so beautiful.

"Screw faith," I muttered under my breath.

"What?" He asked, his voice rising in anticipation.

"I'm ready to go as far as you want to," I answered. And to affirm my response, I planted my mouth firmly on his, and started to unbutton his shirt.

"Honey, do you know where the car keys are?", asked Emily, as she reached for her purse, on the couch. Looking across the room, she spotted her keys on the bar and gathered them securely, in her hand.

Not wanting to leave without saying goodbye, Emily rushed into the bedroom to find Aaron sliding on his shoes. "Ready for work, sweetheart?", she asked. "Yes, it is going to be another long day at the office so, don't expect me home for dinner.", Aaron said, as he took Emily into his arms. Emily saw that look in Aaron's eye, the look which shouted an unspoken love. Leaning in, Aaron gently, lovingly kissed her neck, " Emily, realized," his nostrils are full of my scent," we are going to be late!" she exclaimed.

Looking at his watch, Aaron released her, "and just what has you in such a rush?", he asked. Emily blushed, as she knew that most of her day was free and all hers! "You are right, darling, I am just excited to get started on my day drive. It has been so long since I've had the chance to leave the office and just drive and take in the beauty of the mountains, in Fall.", she explained, as they both went out the door. As Aaron was getting into his car, he yelled over to Emily, "How far can you go today with the time you have?" "I'm not sure, she said but, as far as I can before nightfall. I will see you then." she said as she blew one last kiss, his way.

After going by the office, Emily unbuttoned the top two buttons of her shirt, slipped her feet into some slippers and threw her heels into the backseat. Quickly, she unwrapped the ribbon from her long hair and allowed it to flow, freely. Now, she was ready for that long awaited drive. A drive which took her breath from the awe and beauty which surrounded the entire region.

Emily was prepared and began to drive upwards, higher into the vast forested hillsides which were majestically growing ever higher. Then, Emily heard a funny sound coming from her car, then no power. Luckliy, she was able to let the car coast to an area which was provided for runaway trucks, in bad weather. "HOLY COW!! He did it again! Aaron took my car and did not refill the gas!" Oh! I am not sure if I should be angry with him or with myself!", she exclaimed as she kicked the car, out of frustration.

Looking for the cell phone, Emily did not recall picking it up and putting it into her purse. With this realization, Emily's heart pounded and she realized just how much trouble she was in as it was getting later than she thought. She also knew that she had not past anyone or anything for several miles now. Frustrated and a bit frightened, Emily began the long descent down the mountain road, on foot and in her slippers, as she did not want to wear heels and that was her only other option.

After what seemed to be an eternity, Emily saw a car slowing behind her. "Should I ask for help from these people or..."Hello," said the voice from the car. " Was that your car I saw a few miles back?", he asked. "Yes, I ran out of gas and so, I was trying to get back down the mountain to the get gas and call my husband." Emily explained as she saw him grin at her, strangely as it sent shivers up her back.

"GET IN!", He yelled. Emily could feel the blood rushing from her head but, she instinctively ran, towards the vast woods. Panic was overtaking her as her head swam and the panic drove her, deeper, deeper, into the woods.

Hearing appraoching footsteps, Emily thought her heart would beat out of her chest it was pounding so hard! Then, in a quite voice, Emily heard, "HAVE FAITH!" "Yes, OH LORD, save me from all evil and deliver me safely home to Aaron." she cried as the footsteps were now upon her!

"NOOOO!," she cried out, "don't touch me!" "Emily, it's me, Sheriff Grayson. I saw your car back up the mountain and came looking for you! Are you okay?", he asked. "I am now!", as she took a deep breath of relief. "Did you see a man on the road?", she asked the sheriff. "The sheriff answered, Yes, and I knew he was up to no good. So, I thought I would come looking for you and sure enough, I found fresh footprints. Too small to be a man's foot and thought perhaps he had tried to bring you harm!"

"He did but, God sent you along and I know this because He spoke to me in the midst of my fears and said," "Have faith." "Then, the next thing I heard were your footsteps catching up to me! Oh, God heard my plee and sent you. Thank you, sheriff.

On the way back home, after the sheriff had put gas into Emily's car, she reflected upon this seemingly disasterous day! The only conclusion she could reach was, "How can anyone live without HIM, our Lord?" she asked in amazement at what He had done that very day!
