(Your team here.)
1. Most annoying thing at hockey games?
2. Favorite enforcer or instigator to ever play on your team?
3. Favorite goalie to ever play on your team?
4. Team you'd like to beat the most this season?
5. Dig your coach?
Pittsburgh Penguins.
1. Girls talking (loudly, of course) to eachother, never about the game...
2. ...Kasparaitis, lol. Good times, good times. Sentimental favorite because of the '01 playoffs. Scored the overtime winner in game 7 vs Buffalo. Unbelieveable.
3. Probably Tommy B. for the Cups. Liked the Moose a lot when he was here. So far Fleury's OK. I'd love a consistent Fleury.
4. Tampa Bay friggin' Lightning. Lost all 4 times to them last year. St. Louis or Lecavalier have a streak of a goal-a-game against us. Don't remember which. Could be both. Especially need to beat them now that they have former Pens superstar, Michel Ouellet. LOL.
5. Dig MT and his no-nonsense attitude... and I try not to laugh:

- DAVID D - Aw, damnit, someone catches me not on the ball after all. I'm glad no one pointed out that the last question I called this "volume 3" and now it's "ROUND 4". LOL. Obviously I run an efficient ship here, eh?
But I could make a list of guys for you... Wanna tell me who you have in mind? Lol. Are you referring to Kaspar? I wouldn't blame you. He wasn't so stellar for NY. If... you could call him stellar at all.
- JENNI - Didn't make the connection before, thanks a lot! LOL.

Philadelphia Flyers
1. Uneducated hockey fans who THINK they know the game. Example: I sat in front of two guys who, every time the Flyers touched the puck, yelled "Throw it in the middle!" at the top of their lungs. We eventually started imitating them to make fun of them but the joke sailed right over their heads.
2. Enforcer: Dave Schultz. Instigator: Kenny Linesman
3. Bernie Parent
4. Penguins, preferably in every game of the season series. The Pens swept the Flyers for the first time in their history last year. Time for revenge, although it isn't likely.
5. I don't know how I feel about John Stevens just yet. I am still a little sour over their firing Ken Hitchcock last season. I really don't feel he was the one responsible for the problems. I am willing to give him some more time to prove himself given what Holmgren has done this season.

Rangers
1. Hearing "SHOOOOT!!!!" everytime a guy touches the puck on a power play, whether he's behind his own goal line or has 3 guys laying out to block the SHOTTTTT!!
2. Nicky Fotiu, hometown Ranger from Staten Island. He had wicked wrister and used to skate full bore to the bench after his rare shifts. All his teammates were waiting for the one time Nicky would catch an edge and go through the wall. He was also great to the kids and took time to throw dozens of pucks into the stands after every pregame warmup.
3. Richter backstopped the Cup run, but I was always a huge Vanbiesbrouck fan.
4. Pittsburgh might be their biggest challenge this year, but there's nothing like beating the Islanders. Those guys tormented Ranger fans when I was growing up, so every win is like an ounce of payback.
5. I think Renney's a strong coach even though I'm having trouble getting over Jagr's line being on ice with under a minute left in game 5 of the Sabres series. Remember 7.7 seconds? Renney some has big names and even bigger expectations to deal with this year. This season could be his defining experience as an NHL coach.

About time you came out with another one of these! lol
Toronto Maple Leafs
1. Torontonians. God, I hate them and their selfish, conceited ways so....I hope PuckDat isn't like this, and I sure hope to god that FlamesFan and Chris won't turn out like this...when they grow up. lol
2. Geez...who to choose from....there's Wendal Clark, Doug Gilmour, Darcy Tucker, every player was practically an enforcer AND an instigator back in the Original Six...so all of those guys....
3. As a kid, the back-up, Jeff Reese, because he had "nice-coloured pads." LOL Felix Potvin. If memory serves right, he would've been phenomenal if he stayed with the Leafs and had some defensive support. The fact that he was demoted to back-up to CuJo just tanked his confidence.
4. The rest of the division. And the Penguins. lol
5. I think you've asked this before, didn't you? Paul Maurice is an idiot. "Duh...let's ride Raycroft all the way from the All-Star game and into the playoffs and maybe we'll win the Cup that way." He's human, not the terminator, dumbass. He gets tired.
Erica, have you been to a baseball game? That's where people should talk about anything BUT the game. I notice this all the time at Jays games.

New York Rangers
1. People who disobey arena personnel who tell them not to walk down the stairs during play.
2. I have a few. Dale Purinton, PJ Stock (scored the first goal in Hartford Wolf Pack history), and Darren Langdon. (Surprised at someone I didn't mention here, Erica?)
3. Mike Richter. Nice, down-to-earth guy and had a great career. Lundqvist is creeping up there, though.
4. Buffalo Sabres, although I'm sure every team might want to beat them after last year.
5. Of course. Renney's got the right tools to keep the team's chemistry working well.
Edit: Erica - way to skip over me and miss my question for you in there.
Edit 2: I figured you'd expect to see Avery's name mentioned there. The best "enforcer" moment I remember of Kaspar on the Rangers is his Bobby Granger commercial with Lundqvist.

Pittsburgh Penguins
1. Rude "fans" at the games. You know, the kind who use vulgarites and know nothing about hockey.
2. Chris Tamer was a brawler back in the day for the Pens. I remember him mixing it up with fellow Atlantic division foes in the mid 1990s.
3. I kind of wished Grant Fuhr played for the Pens...nevertheless Tom Barrasso was the next best thing for me.
4. After dominating the Flyers last year (sorry Dave and Bob), I hope the Pens beat the likes of Tampa Bay and Florida this year more often than not!
5. I'm kind of partial towards Scotty Bowman, but Therrien is showing some mettle of his own. Good dude.

(San Jose Sharks)
1. Most annoying thing at hockey games? Disrespectful fans of either team.
2. Favorite enforcer or instigator to ever play on your team? Bryan Marchment.
3. Favorite goalie to ever play on your team? Although he wasn't the best Goalie the Sharks ever had, Arturs Irbe was exciting to watch.
4. Team you'd like to beat the most this season? The Ducks, did you need to ask ?
5. Dig your coach? I'm still trying to make up my mind about Ron Wilson, he hasn't done a bad job the last few seasons.

To answer your questions: 1. Back in 2000 when I went to Mario Lemieux's comeback game, I made and brought a Simply The Best #66 sign. I got off work early just to do that too! When I go to see the Penguins this season, I will make certain I make a flopping flounder wearing a #29 jersey in tribute to my "favorite" goalie. 2. I usually go for a soda or lemonade with no ice. I also like the nachos and fries at the Igloo as well. 3. When my brother (who is a Colorado Avalance fan, by the way) referred to Jocelyn Thibault, he didn't mention him by name. He instead called him always "the stiff who we traded for Patrick Roy". That kind of sums up my faith in Thibault, who like M-A F was a young, overhyped French-Canadian goalie who didn't live up to expectations (and oddly enough, lacked confidence). I was more in favor of guys like Nolan Schaefer and Dave Brown. Now that the Pens have Dany Sabourin and Ty Conklin (who may actually be worse than Fleury), I'm not so sure about the status between the pipes for Pittsburgh. 4. I'm old-school with the fighting. I love a good bout between the heavyweights. Strangely, I would like to see Sidney Crosby squab with Paul Kariya, and I really don't know why. I don't think it's going to happen, unless the Blues and Penguins meet in the Stanley Cup final...ha Blues!

By far the most annoying thing at hockey games is the vendors walking around the stand yelling "ICE CREAM" for the whole game. It gets sooo annoying.
I have 3 favorite instigators. One Probert. True fighter through and through, and he hardly lost. Kocur is another...the Wings found him playing at a 30 and older league when they got him, great player and enforcer. And my current favorite instigator--CHRIS CHELIOS!! He's the least youngest player in the NHL yet he still throws his body around!!
I got two favorite goalies. Terry Sawchuk. Possibly the greatest goalie of all time. And Dominik Hasek. He plays so crazy and hes so entertaing and i play like him too.
I would absolutely positiviley love to beat the Ducks, Sharks, and Flames. All the teams the Wings played in the playoffs and all teams took cheap shots at us. (Mclennan--Calgary--on Franzen), ok San Jose ly high sticked homer...so there all good, but broke Schnieder wrist...again on . And Anaheim, probably the cheapest team in the NHL and stole Schnieder and Bertuzzi.
Mike Babcock is awesome!! He's a great coach, speaks his mind, doesn't lose his cool. AND HE HUNTS!!

Ottawa Senators
1) No need for that ear shattering fog horn to blast every time the home team scores... its so annoying.
2) a toss up between Chris Neil and Brian McGratton
3) Patrick Lalime ..... NOT ! Seriously, until Ray Emery came along, the Sens were always suspect in goal.
4) The Ducks ... even if they lose every game in the season they have to beat Anaheim ! (March 3rd 2008 )
5) New coach this year , I Hope Brian Murray made the right choice.
