if everything is supposed to be based around reproducing why are women hornier on there period , the time when you cant reproduce...

Great question! Remind me to give you a star.I don't know why some women are horny at that time, but it's a fact. Of course we wouldn't expect oral, but a lot of men do not get grossed out. :) Oh, yes! Star!

With humans, sex and sexual desire has very little to do with reproduction. If sex were solely, or even mostly about reproduction, we would only have a sex drive when we are fertile, which is only a few days a month.
SOME women experience an increased sex drive during menstruation, due to elevated or changed hormone levels, but not ALL women experience this.
You also CAN become pregnant when you are on your period, though this is not typical, as most women do not ovulate during their period. However, becoming pregnant during a period is not unheard of and you should always protect yourself from both STDs and unwanted pregnancies.

During a woman's period her body is more sensitive. Just think how women are advised not to do breast self exams or get any waxing done while they have their periods because it would hurt more. The pain receptors are more sensitive, so other non-pain receptors could be, too.
Not all women experience increased arousal during their periods, though. It's different for everyone.

In allseriousnes i think there are 2 things that are in the what i like to call "all good zones".
#1 U know u cannot get knocked up (which to me is a great feeling and makes me more turned on)
#2 the flush of hormones is sometimes a good feeling (the im all the sudden happier ones which make me feel better about myself rather than bad. Thus, making me feel more into it

Oh heck no..LOL, not me!! If my husband even glances at me with an interested look I flip...and wanna slap him LOL... NOT one cell in my body is even remotely horny while I am on my period.
