whenever i submit #225# to check my balance,
it says..$80.00 received on 8/8/07. spending limit balance is $22.89.
what does that spending limit mean?
is that left over money or what?

You must be on a Smart Access plan. You have a spending limit that is determined by the type of plan you are on. If you are on an individual plan, your spending limit is $150. If you are on a family plan, your spending limit is $200. If you reach the spending limit, your phone is shut off until you pay it down to $100 or below on an individual plan or $150 on a family plan. If you are seeing $22.89, it could be left over that you haven't paid, or it could be purchases or overages. If you are seeing ($22.89) or -$22.89, then that is the amount overpaid, which will be applied to your next bill.
