Simple. The Chinese products came from Wal-mart. Wal-mart is a conservative company that contributes a lot of money to the Republican party.
Condemning drugs from Canada was a response to pressure from domestic drug lobbyists. American companies overcharge for drugs, and they want to give a 'bad rap' to any competition.
It's all about the $$$$$$$.

It's simple we are indebted to China. China is a superpower so we also suck up to them.
Aside from that I think it's pretty low for any user here to play the race card to insult and misuse this board. If you don't have a legitimate intelligent response....easy just don't respond or better yet get a life.

I think this stuff is a reprisal for Chinas refusal to change how they value their currency. Basically generating consumer fear and darkening the reputation of chinese goods to change consumer buying habits. Its amazing that now our soybeans are contaminated something many americans would doubt, I wonder if the chinese think the same about all the seafood?
