The amount of time you are on birth control pills makes no difference. You can get pregnant if you miss 1 pill. If you've been on the pill or any kind of bc that stops ovulation you need to have 3 menstrual cycles before you try to conceive. If you try sooner after stopping bc you could end up with a little condition called over suppression syndrome where your ovaries produce and release multiple eggs causing a multiple pregnancy.

The best days to conceive are The 13th, 14th, and 15th day of of your 28 day cycle, counting the first day of your period as day 1. But to keep his sperm count high, only be active 1 time per day.

if you have irregular periods after you get off the pill try going to a chiropractor that specializes in fertility (or at least knows some techniques).. my friend was told that since she only had a period once per year that she would probably not have kids... she got some sort of pelvic adjustment and 2 weeks later found out that she was pregnant!! she didn't even want to be pregnant at the time and she was helped by the technique... maybe it would help you too...
just a thought... good luck and lots of baby dust to you!!!!

I had the same experience as the other two. I had irregular periods and got pregnant 2wks after stopping my pills.

Don't wait to start trying when you stop your pills, go for it right away.

I had horribly irregular periods after coming off the depo shot so my OB/GYN put me on Yazmin for 3 months and I got pregnant 2 weeks after stopping it.

I sure hope so - I ovulated the first cycle off of them and now in cycle two and trying to conceive. I o'ed and now am in the two week wait. You just need to track your cycles, try www.fertilityfriend.com.

I had irregular cycles before the pill and since I've been off they've been "textbook" 28-day cycles with ovulation on day 14
