Ok he shouldn't be banned from the NFL at all. The only thing he should get in trouble for is the gambling which he may not have even participated in. The NFL was going to get him in trouble even before a plea was made. It's these stupid annoying animal rights activists that are behind this that care more if a dog gets hurt than if a person died, probably why he is receiving more crap for this than when Ray Lewis was charged with murder. Do you know how many people get hurt in the NFL? So many. ITS A DOG! Why is he getting so much crap?

the NFL will probably suspend him for the duration of his prison sentence and the Falcons will cut him by next spring while he's in the pokey, but he could come back as an unsigned free agent, then he would just have to find a team...

Depends on how long his sentence is. Personally, I would have to say no. No matter how long it is. What he did was not only illegal, but inhumane and stupid as well.

no. whatever punishment he gets from the court (5 years max, from what i understand) will not be enough. take away millions in potential endorsements, and he will be punished. he should be jailed and forgotten like the loser he is.
