not really because there is always a risk and then they are sometimes worth it because you could have another person's opinion and also the thrill and suspence of not knowing who on the other end (assuming this is a online pen pal kind of thing!!!)

Eh, no- they may work temporarily but in the end its gonna combust. People need to actually be together for things to work, same with long distance relationships, just doesn't work... Not for me anyway.

It worked for me and Ive spent a lot of money in travel etc. expenses.. it has to be both parties willing to make it work.
