Both, actually. Iran is helping the Sunnis meet their maker and helping the Shiites send the Sunnis to the Promised Land. Iran is being very "helpful".
I should point out, it is not the people of Iran that is the problem...it's their lousy government!

IRAN is helping the Shiites becuz 99.5% of IRAN are Shitte muslims, this is where all the insurgents get their weapons from even though IRAN denies it
i myself am a SUNNI muslim and what the Shiites are doing is wrong theyre not even real muslims!

Shiites who historically are aligned with the people of Iran. One must realize that the countries of Iraq and Iran do not exist beyond the borders drawn by the British at the end of WWII

Iran is helping the Si'ites, but nobody is helping the Shi'ites as much as George W. Bush is helping the Shi'ites. He liberated them from Sunni domination under Sadaam Hussein. Unfortunately for Bush, he hit a hornet's nest with a baseball bat and now he is getting bitten. It would be funny to watch if it were not tragic.

The Shiites to an overwhelming degree,though there has been some evidence that they have provided limited support to the Sunnis also.
But our "ally",Saudi Arabia is providing funds and perhaps weapons and supplies,exclusively to the Sunnis,many of which are allied with Al Qaeda.
