Crocodiles have not stopped evolving because they never started. There is no truly scientific evidence that any living or formerly living creature has ever evolved from one species to another.
Cry, pout , get angry , accuse and intimidate , it just is not there in the fossil record. Darwin himself expressed his concern with this fact. In the past 150 years there has been some manufactured evidence (Piltdown) and over-stated conclusions of lab experiments (Miller-Urey) plus utilization of forced suppositions and misdirection to advance the flawed premise. The supposed theory of organic evolution , the way it is presented by the pseudo-scientists is obvious a doctrine of faith in the religion of atheism. There is no truth to it and those lies are not science.
In the issue of "separation of religion and state" the courts have hypocritically chosen the doctrine of evolution promoted by the popular religion of wilfull foolishnsess

The government does not want you to know the truth. Look up the 12th planet called neberu. It actually collided with mars or the moon to create earth. Look up annunaki genetics. We arent evovling because we have already evovled. Do you think we are really a mistake? Why are we so different from anything else on this planet. We are the aliens to this planet not everything else. Also there are 53 different races of humans on this earth how is that possible. If humans have been around for only 10,000 years, how could 53 different races of humans evolve in such little time?

The crocodilians have been around more or less in their present form for 200 million years or so. They got it right the first time. They're a good example of a creature almost perfectly adapted to take advantage of their particular ecological niche, that is the aquatic ambush predator. They simply haven't needed to change because there have always been lakes and rivers from which to operate. Crocodiles are far more successful on a per hunt basis than any land predator so how do you improve on that?

Humans did not mean to mutate into higher beings. Besides, the crocodiles are surviving just fine the way they are. Why evolve?

I can't picture evolution ever really stopping as long as there is life. Crocodiles may not be as intelligent as humans, but they sure are more agile and stronger, with better aquatic abilities. These species adapted differently because of different environmental pressures. While humans are mainly land mammals who evolved different mental and physical abilities to survive, crocodiles adapted to survive and prey in aquatic environments.

As conditions change on earth so will a species to adapt to those conditions.

Just because you don't see it happening doesn't mean that they are not changing.

The crocodile was much larger millions of years ago and they have down sized to meet conditions.

It has not stopped evolving. But it has evolved into a very successful lifeform which is why it continues to exist. If it does not go extinct over the next million years, it will likely continue to evolve.

You might argue that some humans seem to be evolving into crocs (Dick Cheney comes to mind.)

They are ideally suited for their environment. All the selection pressures tend to point them back to being a crocodile, the perfect predator for the environment they live in.
