ok so me and my boyfriend have been dating off and on 4 almost 5 months.I really love him and a few weeks ago i found out from one of my friends that his dad died.He doesnt want me to know though why is this?

maybe he dont want to mourn about it or just needs to handle it on his own right now....when he feels the time is right to tell u he will. Everyone has their own way of dealing with things. Give him time.

Was he living with him at the time? Were they estranged? Maybe he can't talk about it yet. It is very scary when you loose a parent.. it is like you lost a home to go to (forever).

He is probably very upset about his Dad's death, and doesn't want to worry about how it might impact you.
Let him tell you when he's ready to.
