Today, it was hot outside, & I took my personal cup of ice water to the doctor's office with me since I was walking. My friend jokingly called me ghetto. Haha!

That's not ghetto. Ghetto is when you go to the buffet and steal their dishes. Or when you're serving a candlelight dinner on paper plates.

Tell your friend to mind her business! And since when has taking dishes outside considered ghetto. I have a large plastic cup I bought from the Aquarium that I bring to work and home everyday filled with ice.

Queen, Sistagirl, you are NOT ghetto. As long as it was a cup or water bottle and NOT a glass then you are alright. Now "Ghetto-Fabulous" would be to bring a HUGE plastic Kool-Aid cup with ice water in it. ( Don't y'all even try to act like y'all don't know what the Kool-Aid cup is) Step on, Sista, step on. Dang. You could have at least used a water bottle. HAHAHA! But what's real ghetto is when someone puts food in their purse using napkins on the table! Or when they eat up all the food at a cook-out when they weren't invited, and have the nerve to ask for a doggy bag to go.

I think it depends on the type of dish. A dollar store plastic cup all psychedelic with a bright color, yep ghetto and barrio

kinda ghetto, depends on the cup i guess... a big neon orange plastic cup from walmart might seem a little ghetto, and yes i've done it before :)

No it isn't your friend is crazy, liitery! I take my own cup of water and waterbottle. Don't worry what she thinks you be your own self. She was probly jelus cause she wasen't smart enough like you as to bring her own water!
