A new coffee is causing a storm
thosands are saying it the best coffee ever tasted
my problem? The coffee is made from seeds found in the droppings of cats in indonesia would you drink it?
it also costs about 25 quid a cup?

The cats are wild, they eat the seeds which are then gathered from the droppings

I dont drink coffee. However, i especially wouldnt drink coffee made from cat droppings. And that goes doubly sure if i have to pay 40-50 US dollars for a cup

The animal is the palm civet, not a cat. The beans are excreted whole and not with dung. The coffee is called Kopi Luwak and is very expensive.
The animal enjoys the outer coating of the coffee bean and digests that getting rid of the seed inside. The beans are clean but they are washed before roasting. The roasting process kills any pathogens and the beans are then ground and used as normal.
I'd like to try it but can't afford it.
