Bet you didn't know that Dubble Bubble was the very first bubblegum! According a research site called FirstMention.com, bubblegum was first introduced in 1911:

but it was, er, sort of poisonous. Dubble Bubble had to take out ads offering a reward if anyone could show Dubble Bubble wasn't safe. You can see the ad at the above link.

I like Dubble Bubble too. I love to sit in class and blow a bubble and take the bubble out of my mouth and play catch with it. :·P

Well since I have braces, I can't chew gum, but when I didn't have braces, I liked gum, but I can live without it.

I use to chew it all the time but I can't when I teach school. I chew the sugar free when I do.
