SuperHero Hype reports that the JLA movie will probably be CGI / motion capture, in the lines of The Polar Express and the upcoming movies Beowulf and Avatar. I think this is Great!! after seeing the cutscenes from the Marvel Ultimate Allience video game, hell!! even before then, I've always felt that some of these comicbook movies would come across much better as animated features, It would eliminate so many headaches, trying to find the right actors, negotiating w/ salaries etc... Doing it this way just seems so natural in it's simplicity, think about what they could do, REALLY do, that they couldn't w/ the Spiderman & X-Men movies, not knocking them mind you ( I love those movies ) But they can't use the excuse," We can't do that because of the believability factor or production costs." There are no limitations w/ animation. Any thoughts?

Well, if the company decides to make a movie with computer graphic, then it must be really targeting young kids. Like all past CGI comic cartoons, Ultimate Avengers, Iron Man, Batwoman, JL CGI movie will only receive a low gross income because only kids and comic fans will see it. However, if a live action is made instead, teenagers and adults might be somewhat interested and engaged in such a movie. They will think, "Oh... a live action Justice League? This might be interesting." But if it is in cartoon format, then they will think, "Ah... just a silly cartoon for the kids."

However, if they are to make a JLA cartoon, it would be based on Justice League Unlimited series (because the movie would be easily explained by the cartoon series) with nearly 30 superheroes in the league. Perhaps some sort of cosmic event engenders the involvement of Justice League. Events at same scale as DC's Infinite Crisis would do fine.

Joseph Gordon Levitt and Andrew Lincoln (Rick from The Walking Dead) have both been offered the role Of Batman in The Justice League movie. Neither have accepted the offer. Joseph Gordon Levitt has however stated that he will play Batman in a movie coming out sometime in 2014 before the release of the 2015 Justice League movie. And It would not be a mistake. Robin has taken on the role of Batman in many of the comics and a few times even in the cartoons over the years.

Not a big fan of that style - so I vote NO!

As far as characters I think should be in the movie - stick with the big guns at first
Superman - Batman - Wonder Woman - Flash - Green Lantern - Aquaman - Martian Manhunter

Then, if that goes well, Green Arrow and Black Canary. Then perhaps the Atom and Hawkman.

Why DC/Warner Brothers is lagging behind in getting their characters into the theaters, I don't know.
