sometimes when i watch news reports about central america i get the idea that all the attractive people move to cities, it makes sense, i wish theyd put out some stats on this

ok well heres the way i see it, there is a general societal ideal of what beauty is, and personally everyone has an idea of what that is for them, so you have a cut off of who is good looking or not, who is really good looking, not very, or not at all, so common sense, who is good looking. because we all pretty much know what ugly is, so just reverse that, its not really that hard :)

It depends on what your perception of attractive is. Most people think you are attractive if you are thin. If this is the case the percentage would be very low since Americans are getting so fat these days.

Well good looking is really in the eye of the beholder is it not? Having said that, and having traveled all over the U.S., except for the extreme Northern states, I would say that there are a lot of very attractive people in the United States. In fact a friend of mine from Britain came over last month and commented on how many attractive people there are here. He was shocked as most TV stations report us as being over weight without teeth......ha ha.

Who is attractive depends on the person you ask... it is an opinion so there is no way to put "stats on it" as you say.
Added - You are obviously young and/or shallow, judging by your additional comments. Most people are giving you the right answer and you refuse to hear it. Guess it will take some maturity for you to "get it".

Part of the problem here is what you would consider "good looking". Attractive, normal-featured people? Lots, actually. And it's not always physical beauty, unless that's your total criteria, that makes someone beautiful. Keep looking, someone has to've done some studies on this.

I don't think there is a relative statistic for that because everybody's idea of "good looking" is different. I read in Cosmo a few months ago that 80% of Latin American women consider themselves goodlooking while only 62% of American women feel the same way.
