Oh noooo.... I do that all the time.... The reason I do it is because I hate being on the phone, and this certain *someone* calls me like 30 times a day and freaks when I don't answer the phone... another certain *someone* calls me every day, over and over, and makes a POINT to call me very early in the morning when I've specifically asked NOT to receive calls that early because I'm getting my kids off to school, and then proceeds to call me late at night, exactly as I've asked him not to, because the kids are sleeping and so am I.... some people don't get it... I hate the phone though.. some days I don't answer it at all, unless it's my mom or one of my kids of course.... If it was a possibility I wouldn't have a phone because it's more of a nuisance than anything... I actually get P.O.ed when it rings.... You may as well give me an electric shock when it rings, lol.....

Lol

I do that! but only when it's not a serious thing, it's like a figure of speech. Like when u say "yeah, we should get together soon..." or "oh, we should do that sometime" Its very informal, not an appointment, more of a casual suggestion. lol

...I dont do it to piss anyone off. I figure, if the person really wants to "get together" or "do that sometime" or "talk" they will say when or call....eeheh

I guess what I'm trying to say is, if u want a call back say "OK, I'll be expecting your call".
Then I know the person is serious... ;-D

Yep. My best guy friend from the time I was 12 until I was 18 did that one night after we fooled around (for the first time). Actually, he did call back - a year later.

Ahhh! That's what I'm waiting on right now. I was on the phone so I told the caller that I would call them right back. I called back 2 min. later and had to leave a msg. How could she have gotten that busy so soon? And, now it's been 30 min. Forget it!

yes, that is extremely annoying
if someone has done it to me once before & they give me that line again, I do not wait around a second time - I go on about my life and if I miss their return call, they can leave a message and I'll call them right back - maybe!
