I see a lot of people who are far more fortunate than me & hate my guts. Some people say that they treat me mean because they're jealous. If you have a good job that pays over $250,000/yr. & have a Master's Degree, & I'm unemployed & receive SSI & Social Security with only a Bachelor's degree, what would you be jealous of me for? If you're more fortunate than me, why do you try to bring me down & take away my happiness? I'm talking about people in general, not you specifically.

Money and happiness are two unrelated things. You can have all the money in the world and still be the most miserable beast on the planet. Conversely, you can be the happiest person on the planet and be poorer then a church mouse.

The sayings go "misery loves company" and "money can't buy happiness" and they're both very true!

These people still feel insecure. Their only security is to try to bring others down. I know people like that too.
