We need a sleeping bag for our son, as he kicks his covers off a lot and then wakes us up to tell us all about it. (Yawn). Ive only been able to find sleeping bags for 10lbs +. Any ideas where I could get a smaller one? (In the uk). Thanks.

Hi,

I have found this prefect site for what you looking for! It is a UK site!

It is called Tiny Baby & Co - it provides the Snuggle Bags you looking for for your son!

They are resonably priced at 10.99 and they dispatch within 48 hrs!

Thing is it does the size in Kgs so your little one is probably 2.5kg but I would get the 3Kg on as well just to check for size for him.

They do unisex ones like this one ....

Or a baby boy one like this one...

Good Luck!

Try mothercare as the have clothes for prem babies or your local small family owned baby shop, these kind of shops often sell really useful things instead of what is deemed trendy and now.!! If not you could also try e-bay I have bought sleeping bags from e-bay shops.

mothercare, they can be expensive. Asda also do baby grows like a sleeping bag (they have no feet in them look more like a sort of dress) my son was exactly the same. hope this is the answer to your sleepless nights!

They do advise that you shouldn't put new borns in sleeping bags as they could well over-heat...... I would take the swaddling advice or if the blanket is big enough, tuck it under the mattress

a sleeping bag may be unsuitable if baby is very young as they may over heat during the night.. how about trying an all-in-0ne romper suit, thy sell them in mother care world... then all he would need is a normal blanket,,

good luck
