Who wouldn't? What is interesting is the answers from those who's agenda opposes the consumption tax. In evaluating the Fair Tax it must be done by comparison to the income tax. Any system that taxes income or property is penalizing achievement, hard work. That is not fair. When tax lobbyists provide "campaign contributions" for loopholes, that is not fair.

Not possible. If you're talking about that absurdly high 25% sales tax masquerading as a "Fair" tax, forget it! A great break for the wealthy but a massive tax increase for the middle class. Screw that!

The "fairtax" has been hashed and re-hashed so many times already here and on other boards with most knowledgeable people being against the fairtax.

Take your question to the politics section where it belongs.
