Do you mash up the tuna from the can and add mayonnaise to it??? (Not too much though) Some sub places I've been to also add a tad of mustard and/or relish to their tuna. That may be the difference. (Only use Miracle Whip if you prefer the taste of that to mayonnaise. But personally I've never had a Tuna sandwich or sub from a restaurant with Miracle Whip on it. So I doubt that's the taste you're going for)
Experiment with these things and you are sure to get close to the tuna subs at Subway.

Tuna Sub: White bread, touch of mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, oregano. That's what I'd put on mine plus the white American cheese. Parmesan: par-ma-zjon (pronounce last part like a you're trying to say the letters G and J at the same time. And I really hope this wasn't a trick question because I really feel fooled right now...

O.K. I'll let you know the secret. Most of the "TUNA" isn't tuna. They buy meat from eastern fishing companies for pennies on the ton. The way they fish over there is to drag nets around the coasts and grind up and process all the fish on the boat. Then, pull into a port and unload. Remember the sunami? 1.5 billion people gone, just gone. Well, fish price dropped 90% after that. It wasn't fish at all. It was people. Bet you ate it. A little sweeter, huh?

Buy the light tuna that comes in a pouch, not the canned stuff. Flake it up really good. Mix with regular (not low-fat) Kraft mayonnaise. That is it. No miracle whip, no relish. Just tuna and Kraft regular mayonnaise.

Subway uses the light tuna (cheaper), not white and they use light mayonnaise not full fat. They don't put anything else in it, it's very plain. Try this and you'll see it tastes exactly like it!!!

Buy the cheapest canned tuna available. Get some miracle whip(not mayonaise!)... mix these together, about 2 tablespoons miracle whip to a can of tuna... spread on a stale french bread roll... add cheese-food slices, if desired. Eat(and possibly enjoy)!
