i'm not sure how it is spelled;
Poon,
pune,
or mabe pün,
or somthing like that, What does it mean, it may be a New Elgland or even a MA saying, i'm in Leominster High School.

I am going to answer this question for you because I am also from that part of MA and my best friend went to Leominster High, where a very close friend of mine has taught for years...

Poon is slang for a woman's genitalia and can also be used as a slang for a weak or wimpy individual.

It's not a nice or acceptable term and also not regional or local slang. It's widely known, but pretty derogatory. I would venture that since you didn't know the definition, maybe you shouldn't use it.
