I was just wondering if anyone here has had problems with AOL. I have deleted my account with them SEVERAL months ago, and they have still continued to take money out of my account. One month it was even taken out of my checking account 4 times! I have gone to get gas of food for the week a few times and had my card declined, and come to find out AOL had tried taking more money out! This has not been pleasant at all, especially when not carrying cash on me! So if you have had problems with AOL's service please let me know! Thank you!!!

Go to your bank/building society with £10 and open a new account.Give the new number to your wages department and you will be issued with new cards etc Transfer all standing orders at least the ones you want to pay This will be a little hard for a day or two but there is always the chance that its not AOL. And of course transfer any funds even if you cant access them for a week you do at least keep it Stay lucky

Everyone I have every heard of that tried to cancel an AOL account had trouble. I was once an AOL customer for 3 hours. I spent 2 of those hours on the phone canceling my account. I think the only reason they didn't charge me was that I used a 'free 30 day trial' and NEVER gave them an account number.
The ONLY reason I signed up to begin with was my computer crashed. I needed Internet access to retrieve the dial-up number for my ISP at the time.

Yes,I am still waiting for the money they continued taking out of my account after I had cancelled with them and changed my bank details because I had heard of this happening and they still managed to get £64 out of it and I was not even in the country and my computer was in a box in a container on the high seas.

Sounds very 'iffy'...have you completed your contract time with AOL ?.... and have a new ISP ? I suggest you contact your bank, and cancel any arrangement you have, with regard to payments to AOL. I was with them a few years ago, but had no trouble.
Good luck.

You should cancel the AOL Direct Debit at your bank and call AOL to complain about the situation - your entitled to a refund !

I hope everything works out for you... let us know how it goes :)

It became undesirable each and all the subjects you defined. I rang Aol & have been given somebody who did no longer comprehend me. After chatting with 3 different human beings, none of which I understood I misplaced my temper & demanded my MAC code. i became then put in touch with an Irish bloke who became fab & taken care of my connection out asap, consistent with risk try that? desire this helps :-)
