LOL, yeah, "Straight Up" by Paula Abdul always reminds me of being 9 years old and hanging out at the local mall, playing Super Mario Bros. at the arcade there.
Oh, also, the other day I heard "Love Takes Time" by Mariah Carey, and it totally brought me right back to this skating party back in 5th grade, when I wanted the boy I was "going out" with to slow-skate with me and he wouldn't. My first brush with heartbreak...sigh...

Where is the Love by the Black eyed PEas reminds me of when i went to New York just after September 11th and there was a guy that was holding a large radio to his ear with the most incredible voice singing the chorus to the song whilst walking around Times Square makes me smile justy thinking about it

this band were a bit of a one-hit-wonder, but this song was really popular back in '02. i have vivid memories of listening to this song when i was heavily pregnant, and feeling my baby kick when the song was on. i guess i like the song mainly because it brings back happy memories.
