Wouldn,t this prevent position driven agenda's

I wish there was a way to insure there wasn't a political bias's in the position. I think perhaps they need to think about making it the courts decision to determine if the Attorney General is providing adequate supervision and execution of laws. If they do not provide it, they should be removed as soon as possible and a new person placed in the position!

let me get this straight -- you want the President to be getting his legal advice from an elected hack? who might even be from the other party?

I can just see Hilliary relying on the advice of Fred Thompson, can't you??

Well, as it is, we have an UNELECTED hack as attorney general. What's wrong with this picture?
