4 is what they want you to say, but no-- the protagonist is not always the main character, so 1 is not always true. 2 is... for stories about fraternities, I guess! What does that mean, "initiates"? It's vague. 3 is usually true. But 4 is false because of the word "always."

I think only one is true. The protagonist often has some weakness. He doesn't have to be the main character. He doesn't have to initiate the main character. He doesn't have to be likable. The protagonist can turn out to be a very unlikely character. It happens all the time. Pax - C
