Clearly you havn't read it, so if we tell you, it won't be as surprising to read. But if you must know, the most surprising thing to me was Snape being good all along & Harry not dying when he entered the forest. I will not elaborate because I think you should read it for yourself!

That Aunt Petunia was so desperate to go to Hogwarts that she even wrote Dumbledore a letter begging him to accept her.
