I'd say 50/50. Their best bet is that the Mariners slow down and give the Yanks the wild card. I wouldn't count on them catching the Red Sox but you never know with the Yankees...

AS a Yankee fan for the better part of 60 years the chance to win the league title is nil.The chances to reach the playoffs are at the best 50%. They have been inconistent all year. The hitting is there but too often absent when needed. Mussina and Roger the Rocket have seen their better days long ago. The pitching for the most part stinks.
The younger guys need more experience. I believe better days are ahead in the future but not this year.

Those with total confidence in the Yankees need to start putting down money -- serious, bank-breaking, REALLY-show-committment money -- on that confidence.
You're going to win, right? What's the downside? And this way you'll have the funds to buy season tickets to the last year in the ol' shed that Ruth built.

I think if we can pull off the division then make it to the playoffs but i'm not 100% sure we can pull the playoffs

well they have to play better against teams like the angels and red sox well they have a good chance they just need to just play one game at a time dont give up the faith

60%....Seattle will collapse and the yanks will pass them for wild card, I think the yanks can catch the sox 2 but i'm not positive
