if my father had an expartay order agianst an 18 year old boy for me not him but i love this boy just to say does that mean he cant talk to me????

I would think that you would have had to be the one that filed for the Restraining Order (ex parte). You might read the order to see what it says.
If your dad got one, it would be for him. So this guy wouldn't be able to call the house or come over or be near your dad.
Since you are 18 years old, your dad cant get a restraining order with out your permission.
I could be wrong. But if I was you, I would read over the ex parte to see exactly what it says.

More than likely though if you try to see this guy, your dad is going to make it really difficult. You need to talk to your dad about your feeling.

What is the reason your dad got the restraining order?
Was the guy hurting you? Or does dad just not like him? Why?
