Actually, I fail to see how a person's ego would be an impediment to a fulfilling relationship.
An annoyance, perhaps.
A fulfilling relationship - for us - means enjoying a long list of shared interests with healthy doses of hot sex.

True, ego problems in husband of both former marriages. I was not allowed to work at better job or earn more money, although I was better than them...

at times, my hubby gets arrogant or boastful about his career. He'll use big words that means the same thing as a simple sentence. Drives me nuts. But, at least he has a job...so I try to not fuss... It doesn't make it less fulfilling for us, it is just one of my pet peeves.

Man, I have been "unsingle" for about 6 and a half years now, I have no idea if I even have an ego.
