I found some online, but it isn't cheap. http://www.imstuffedfur.com/generic14.html;$sessionid$SJFT0WQAAACYDTZENUFETIWPERWRJPX0 (scroll down to about the 7th image.) There are a couple of other grey fur fabrics on this site in the $15 per yard category that might work well enough for you too, if price is an issue. I found some on one other site but they were sold out.

I'm thinking that the colors you're looking for probably aren't going to be as common as what they normally stock in fabric stores for Halloween. So if you're going to be looking locally, grab a phone book and let your fingers do the walking. ;) In other words, call ahead rather than drive to each store individually only to find they don't have it. Most people know what they have, and if they don't and they're not super busy they won't mind running to take a look (if you ask nicely.) Good luck!

Any fabric store is full of it. If they aren't displaying it at this time seasonally, then they will have their discount sections that will most likely have it in but since this is close to halloween, I'm betting that it is alreay in the stores. Look up Fabric Stores in your yellow pages for the list of them in your area. I go to Field's Fabric but I don't know if you have one of those where you live.

Wally's world has a lousy selection of fabric. See if there isn't a Joann's or a real fabric store nearby.

If all else fails, order it online. You have time.

Do you have a Joanne's Fabric or Hancock Fabric - if you are not sure look in yellow pages for 'fabric' and anyone who sells fabric should be in there in your area.

Check out Jo-Ann's Fabrics, Michael's or A.C. Moore. If they don't have them there do a search on Fabric stores, that's where you will find fur.

Actually, I went out in costume on Saturday night. So, no, I'm back to the work routine today.

Walmart always carries a wide varity of fake fur. Sometimes you have to ask for it. If they don't have it, they can order it.
