Yes.. It happened to be in the month of January, I lived in the back of my truck for over a month and a half while I worked two jobs.. I had a membership at a health club that I would take shower at.. It got cold a few of those nights, but I got back on my feet pretty quick...
I thought my friends and family would have thought I was a looser or something for getting in that situation but what actually happened was I gained respect from then for not giving up or asking for help, and then taking care of the problem myself..

only one time for a day and a half. luckily i had friends to stay with.

i have worked at a homeless shelter for the past 3 years. some people are suprised to learn that a lot of the people that come through here like the homeless lifestyle. they consider it to be freedom. of course there are also those who want to change their lives and get back on their feet.

Not in the traditional sense, but I had to stay with friends for a month once, because I had no place to live (other than with them).

Kind of when I was a kid my mom could not keep a roof over our heads and we got bounced around a lot.
