The best accounting programs are at the best business schools. Many of the best business schools don't have undergraduate programs (e.g., Tuck, Duke, Harvard, Stanford).
in my opinion, the best undergraduate B-Schools are:
1. The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania)
2. The Sloan School (MIT)
3. The Haas School (UC-Berkeley)
4. The Ross School (University of Michigan)
5. The McIntire School (University of Virginia)
Others that are near the top of the list are University of Maryland, Villanova University, Boston College, Babson, NYU, UCLA, USC. Any state school that is the best in its state probably has a good program. This would include most of the Big Ten schools, ACC schools and Big 12 Schools.
