I recently bought a halloween costume from Doxy Lingerie and they ran my card over a week ago but I still have to receive and notice that my item has shipped and of course haven't received the item. When trying to look up the status of an item online it gives you no tracking number, nothing. Then when you try to contact them by email you get only an auto response back saying they will contact you but it never happens. When you try to call them all you get is an answering machine asking you to leave a message and they will contact you. I even faxed them something stating I want comformation of my order since they've taken my payment and have heard nothing. What can I do?

After all this mess I see there are numerous complaints about this company...a little too late though. What rights do I have and what can I do to at least get my $62.95 back? HELP!

Just check that out. This is why I'm nervous. I was trying to give them time. But the fact I couldn't get a hold of them made me leary. So I looked up their name in the yellow book online, nothing. So I tried the address and found other companies, which I've talked to. They confirmed their office is down the way but they NEVER see anyone there. What they told me was disturbing. So I looked up Doxy Lingerie on here and found more disturbing things which led me to the reports above.

Don't wait to contact your credit card - they often have time limits for you to disclaim charges that shady companies do try and take advantage of.

If you have not received your order, tell your credit card company to reverse the charge. Start the process. As long as it's in the billing period when the charges were made you shouldn't have any trouble (although they will run you around the proverbial bush). Don't give up and don't give in - keep pressing (your CC company) until you have your money back. If the item appears on your doorstep - you can let them know.

First, I would try to be a little patient for a few more days. You said they had run your credit card a week ago; that's barely enough time for them to ship to you.
I would probably wait until this coming weekend. If you don't get the costume and still cannot contact them, call your credit card company and file a complaint so that you don't have to pay for something you didn't receive.
Also, keep a record of when you try and contact the costume place. You might consider sending them a registered letter also if you don't receive the costume. That way, someone at the costume shop has to sign for the letter and you know it was received by the costume ship.
Remember to ensure that you get back not only the price of the costume, but any shipping charges also!

File a complaint with your credit card company IN WRITING indicating everything you have relayed above and request that the money be credited back to your account pending an investigation.

You can file a complaint over the phone and they will send you out a form to complete, you must file the dispute in writing for them to proceed with reversing off charge.

the fact you paid with Paypal, gives you some assurance,if you don't get your goods soon, then contact Paypal. It could be this company only puts an order out when it gets a buyer, and this then delays things, and the whole point of paypal is to speed things up I wouldn't wait any longer, keep pestering them, but also contact paypal and put them in the picture. You wont be giving them any good reviews I trust

Try giving it more than week. It takes me that long to get a letter from the next state over.

since you bought it on line you used a credit card....your right is to call the credit card, have the charges reversed and file a complaint.
