Someone earlier posted a question about having gay people leave their homosexuality in the bedroom and not influencing children in the school systems, and giving politicians "real" issues to worry about. Do straight people not realize that THEIR lifestyle is not just confined to their bedroom either?

How about every time you walk out of an abercrombie store with bags of guys and girls together? Magazine articles, bridal magazines, high school proms, churches, wedding cake toppers, gym classes/memberships, cruises/vacations, honeymooners, or when you walk into the jewelry store to get a band or engagement ring for your partner and the sales clerk just ASSUMES it's for someone of the OPPOSITE sex? How about a lesbian with a partner who is pregnant..everyone assumes SHE is straight?
It's not just the gay people who make their sexuality known. Heteros do it too, you just can't see it when you're immersed in it yourself.

Oh and not to mention the numerous divorce attorneys and family law attorneys out there, which are usually geared towards HETERO relationships.

The question I asked was in RESPONCE to LGBT comments about why should heteros care about what is done in the privacy of anothers bedroom when the topic of gay agendas in public schools was brought up.
It had NOTHING to do with asking gays to keep it in the bedroom, though that would be the courteous thing to do.

Now you have twisted it to another direction. Your choice I guess.
If you consider mainstream society and natural traditional family units as somehow forcing a bias on a fringe group then I guess you have the right to harbor any fantasy you wish.
The fact that you think so, and that many LGBT's agree sheds light on a serious issue of bias and bigotry within the LGBT community toward society.
If this is really how you feel about society and traditional family units which is the foundation of our civilization then perhaps those ignorant fear mongers are not so ignorant.

Edit: Do heteros even shop at Abercrombie & Fitch?

There are two problems. First your Mum, is a neat person, so the open drawer is offensive. Second, if you push it enough, you will not get your "pocket money". Shut the drawers, and eliminate both problems.

I fully agree with you. However, some people, both straight and gay, are way over the top when flaunting their sexuality.

I know...it isn't just about sex. It's frustrating when people don't realize that LOVE is so much more than just sex.

Some people are closed minded in that aspect if they truly believe being gay is just about sex, even if they fail to admit it.

I am with you.

It has to be all about them, their lives, their plans, hopes and dreams. It is as if they think it will somehow "water down" their important hetero lives if we are given the same rights.

Yes, I agree with you completely. "Some People...!" make it sound like only gays do it, but last I check, straights do it too... and more often.
