by the way i read the book and my favorite character is sodapop, johnny,dally,two-bit, and ponyboy!! i know but im not a big fan of darry or steve both in the book and in the movie.

As I walk into the bright sunlight from the darkness if the movie house I had two things on my mind - Paul Newman & a ride home. The first & last paragraph from the book,I didn't look that up I just remember it after all these years,I read the book about 20 times in a row when I was a teenager ,that's how obsessed I was with the book,Ponyboy & Cherry were my favorites.

Omgosh I love the movie I just cant stop watching it. I love the book to, it is still the only book to actually make me cry lol. I love ponyboy and johnny and as the movie goes on you learn to love like dally to. Its really sad. I was actually just thinking of buying a shirt that like stay gold ponyboy on it lol.

fantastic novel one of my favs and the movie was delish cuz hot guys + great story = good movie right ;)
seriously ralph macchio was a cutie pie! he was perfect to play johnny. and rob lowe.. my goodness rob lowe!! yum
it's so sad but really inspiring. The poem that ponyboy read about staying gold i love it. robert frost is the best

i love it 2. its like the best book eva . the movies great 2 and i read it in school last year.
my fav charcter would probly be sodapop or cherry

I loved the book when I was younger, and the movie's pretty good too. Love the poem that ends "Nothing gold can stay"

yeah i agree.
the movie is pretty good too. we watched it in school, and i swear, when sodapop came out of the shower half naked, all the girls in class were like "oh my gawd he is sooooooooo hot!" it was pretty funny

That is one of my all time favorite movies!!! I LOVE IT. My other all time fav is The Lost Boys!
