I think he's one of the few adults running for president. His exploratory committee is going around polling key areas and his numbers are high. I expect him to make the announcement soon.
Don't you just love Liberal Democrats. They trash his wife for being pretty. Meanwhile, they bend over backwards to highlight and defend every inane statement by Obama and Edwards wives. (BTW are they running for president. Do the husbands have anything to say about Hillary? Are they afraid of her?) Anyway, Democrats will be stunned when they start "hearing" Thompson and his "clean and articulate" wife speak. There will be a sharp noticeable contrast between Thompson and the Stepford Democrat candidates.

I usually vote Democrat.
If the Dem candidate is Obama or Clinton and the Republican candidate is Thompson, Thompson will win handily.
Moderate voters swoon for Republican candidates who can articulate the supposed GOP platform. And America isn't capable of delivering a woman or minority president yet.
My opinion.

Thompson has my vote! He is experienced, articulate and not a socialist. He says what he means, and means what he says! He will win over Hitlery in a heartbeat!!

ha-ha NO !
have you seen and heard his wife yet ?
she gives people the creeps, every conservative I know stopped supporting Thompson after they found out what kind of wife he has.
Americans are not ready for a low budget trophy wife in the White House who is often showing off her big fake boob job and saying stupid things that would embarrass a stripper.

Why should anyone be afraid of the man? He hasn't even declared he's running.

I don't even take his campaign seriously enough to show any concern whatsoever. Most will see past his "Reaganite conservative" charade for what he truly is: another Bush-like neo-con.

They are acting like they are ignoring him, but they know he has a great chance of winning the GOP nomination.. Head to head with the Socialist Hitlery.. He has a good chance to pull this out..

No, he is too Bush-like in his policies. The Democratic candidate will beat him in a landslide.

I wish he would run and become the Republican nominee. It would assure a Democratic victory.
