He has no issue with lead because the market will take care of it itself, which it did.
He's threatening to veto the health insurance bill because the bill is trying to circumvent the national health care debate and does incredibly stupid things. Its socialism on a fast track. Did you know that, under that bill, a twenty-five year old, yes 25, is considered a child and has access to the same health care a five year old would have? Did you also know that twenty five year old is still entitled to health care even he if he or she has children?
This isn't a child insurance bill. Its socialized medicine for everyone twenty-five and younger. Hope he does veto it. Tired of liberals trying to sneak in their nonsense when they fail to win a debate.

Ok, that's it. The liberals win. I'm tired of hearing the word 'bush' used to denote everything evil in this world. Come on people now, bush isn't such an evil thing. I for one really appreciate having bush in my life and will never forgive you people for ruining that word for me.
Good going.
Oh yeah, and when was the last time you asked the government to increase your taxes to pay for all this?

Mr. Bush should veto the health insurance scam called a bill. It is socialism, pure and simple.
Lead in paint is the responsibility of manufacturers, distributors, retailers. We have the Uniform Commercial Code to deal with that.
Mr. Bush does not have the responsibility of standing on the docks in California and testing toys for lead, as cargo containers are unloaded. If he did it, you would be howling that it's not his job.

Looks more like China is at fault for puting lead in the toys in the first place, bush is just too into the iraq war to worry about kids toys. Hes not a good president, children are just numbers to him and as long as the number doesnt decrease too dramiticly he couldnt care less.

Don't know about the lead but as for Health Insurance for kids. George Bush is not going to interfere with anyone who wishes to purchase health insurance for kids. However, he is opposed to the tax-payer subsidized entitlement for some irresponsible scum that did some banging and is trying to screw everybody else.
If you feel so strongly then why don't you buy a policy or two to help these irresponsible parents?

No. Bush makes me feel sad about the unnecessary loss of life his lies have caused. Bush makes me feel concerned, seeing that someone so incompetent can be elected to the presidency of these United States. Bush makes me feel paranoid, knowing that he has the authority to have my overseas conversations monitored and can also declare me an enemy combatant with no checks and balances to stand in his way. Bush is the most counter productive president to hold the office.

No, absolutely not, if anything, I feel less secure. His cowboy grandstanding has made us more hated around the world. Our military is spread way too thin. Why would that make me safer?
