this question is more in detaillllll. [revised] from my old one.
please readdd.

i was in my car. i was giving it some gas... to get the windows up quicker. and all of a sudden WHITE SMOKE from under the hood!

i shut the engine off immediately and popped the hood.

tons and tons of smoke [steam] i saw coolant everywhere. i decided to try and start it real quick to see if it was anything major maybe. but it started right up with NO problem. but more white smoke. i also checked the gage... it wasnt overheated.

what could have happend???

ALSO. there was no loud bang, no noise at all that i could hear. i JUST saw the smoke/steam.

Another thing. i checked the oil... and there was no goo or discoloration. everything was normal.

PLEASE any help at this point would be GREATLY appriceated.

thank youuu.

It sounds as tho you split a heater hose or a hose in general.

Your problem could be in several areas. You might have a bad water pump/thermostat. Holes in your hoses/radiator, hose clap might be lose. Go to a local repair shop and have a pressure check done on the system and that will tell you where your problem lays.

Look for a blown hose and a stuck thermostat. Also I would test the gauge.... your engine could of been over heating and you never knew it

Is yours a turbo by any chance. If so, the seal between the intake and exhaust sides has gone bad and oil is leaking and burning. Your turbo is oil and water cooled. That is if it is a turbo.
