you go through that a few times during your life.

don't get discouraged or start having depressing thoughts..that only leads to trouble.

Best thing to do here is to visualize where you want to go..forget about everybody else for an hour.. visualize

What do you want, what do is it look like, what does it smell like, feel like, how does it make you feel?

Imagine yourself already at that point..what do you want to do with that? Help others..etc..

In order to get there.. you'll need a plan.. short-term, medium term, and long term.. take small steps.. you have to "drive" in that direction..otherwise you're never going to get there. it's that simple.. if you don't steer yourself to where YOU want to be..then you'll always be LOST about work, life, ppl, and purpose..

It is totally up to you to define those things and it is YOU and ONLY YOU that can drive you there. Think about it.

Do it!

many peopel do, unless they are exceptionally succesful in a career path that they truly connect with.

we all grow up exposed to but insolated from the real world; once thrown out there on our own it can seem rather overwhelming, and quite contrary to our expectations.

slow down; stop and smell the flowers. chill.

there are 40 and 50 year-olds making life-changing decisions; changing careers, changing cities/countries/continents. you're barely begun; most of life remains ahead - and it remains unexplored by you. Find a way to get your head out of (or at least above) the herd; start looking for your own green grass.

You may be experiencing the working stiff phenomenon. Where you realize that this 40 hour work week will be with you for quite awhile.

Just a guess though. Good luck.
