Your debit card and your PayPal account are 2 SEPARATE entities.....

You wont show money in your PayPal account until you TRANSFER it there...

My suggest is to use the PayPal account for your purchases.. and when thew transaction asks you which funding source you need, THEN use the debit card AT THAT TIME to pay for your purchase....

PayPal will automatically take funds from the PayPal account FIRST.. then credit/debit card. You have to manually change the funding source, or it will make a transfer directly from your bank account, which holds up the funds for 3-5 business days....

It means you have $0 in your paypal account, or that you have not transfered any money to pay pal. When you pay something it automatically withdrawal's from your debit card. But you do have the option to transfer whatever you want to sit in the paypal account until you need to us it. If you do this, this when you go to pay for something it will ask you if you want to use the money that is in there or if you want to use your debit card...good luck

When you buy something, then you'll go into paypal to authorize them to transfer money from your card to paypal, then to the seller.
