Sure you can put the house up for sale if there are termites anywhere on the property. You can put a house up for sale even if it's on fire. It's up to you to disclose any known problems with the property if asked (and I think even some states require you to disclose known problems even if not asked), and it's up to the buyer and the inspector that the buyer should hire to notice any problems with the property. Then they can either decide to not buy the property, make a lower offer based on having to spend money making repairs, make an offer subject to you fixing the problems they find, or just say, "sure I'll be your termite infested house! I love a fixer-upper challenge."

yes you can but you have to let the potential buyer know about the problem. It is a defect on or with the property and you as the seller have to discolse this factor. It also will have influance on the purchase price.

Easier would be to get the termite problem taken care about it is not that big of an issue.

I'm an investor and buy termite infested homes all the time. Expect to get screwed if the damage is extensive as you will most likely end up an all cash deal. Treat the termites - you won't regret it.

Yup. But you must declare the termites to a buyer. Home inspectors will find them anyway.

Sure you can....BUT
- termite testing is pretty standard, and
- you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who will buy it knowing there are termites.

You can as long as you disclose it, but it's unlikely that someone will buy it, and even more unlikely that they could get a mortgage.

Why not just contact a pest control company and have them take care of the problem?
