Was it Gerraldine Ferraro? She made headlines becoming the first woman to be on a presidential ticket.
For survivor, no clue. I don't watch reality television.

Go to google and look up a map of the entire US. Stare at it long enough and you will know where the states go. Just remember that Wyoming is a perfect square, almost, and really focus on the small states along the east coast- they get a bit confusing, but everything else is pretty simple. Memorize the shapes of the states and you'll be okay.
