my room. It's not messy, but there's some stuff on the floor. I want to move my bed to the other side of my room. Its not too big(my room) and I have a twin sized bed. What is the easiest way to move it?

Go to the dollar store and get a pack of those sliders they are great and easy to slide the whole thing at once and wont hurt your back .

Ah, the shuffle game! I've played this one. If you have a lot of small stuff in the way, put some of that stuff on the bed (even the breakable stuff is okay on the bed if it's not close to the edge), stack or move the rest, including furniture piecies out of the path you'll need to move the bed, and then when the bed is where you want it, put at least the stuff ON the bed away. It may take a few bursts of rearranging and moving to get it there, but it's doable. If your room is REALLY tiny and you absolutely need the space to turn the bed, dragging a night-stand or dresser at least partially out of the room might be necessary.

What stuff on the floor? If it's not breakable, put it on the bed, tuck in all the blankets, sheets, bedspread, etc and push the bed across the floor...........unless you have wood floors. You don't want to scratch the wood. In that case it's best to remove the top mattress and the bottom one.....put them in the hall. Move the frame and headboard then reassemble. I could move my mattress when I was about 13.......if you are younger or slighter, you may need some help. Parents help if asked and you promise to clean your room.

I'm with the folks that say to put all your stuff on your bed and push it to where you want in the room. I put towels under the part that touch my hardwood floor to avoid scuff marks as I move. If you have carpet, you might want to put the bed on pieces of cardboard which can make it slide over the rug.

Is your bed heavy? If not just push it to the place you want it to be. OR take the mattress off and then move the bed frame.
