You're not alone :)
Unbelievable, but true, my fiancee has great, down to earth friends so no problem there. But an ex-boyfriend from about 10 years ago had this one friend I had really liked: always polite, always asking how I was, being generally likeable. Towards the end of our relationship, this guy and his wife got a divorce, and I really felt bad for him, so I didnt' mind my boyfriend at the time going over to his place sometimes to visit. Little did I know that these "get togethers" included some morally deficient tramps from town!! So he would invite my boyfriend over to have "parties" with these....women. It split us up in a hurry and I ran to get myself tested. Lol....

You both need your own friends, like them or not. Let him have his guy time, but also let him know that you dislike this person & give him the reasons why. Ask him to do things with this person when you are not present. (unless this person is trying to get him to do things that aren't acceptable for a married man). My hubby has a few friends I didn't care for, in fact I found out that his 1 friend had been at our house & had taken my bathing suit top. I looked for a long time for it & thought that I had lost it & when my husband had gone up to his buddies place he saw it there & brought it back home. Of course I throw thing out, not wanting to know what was done with it. But I still kept out of their friendship. We have been together for 26 years & married 24 years.

My husband's best friend. I can't stand him. He's a total dick and I hate him... however, I didn't tell my husband this when we were dating as I assumed it would be a deal breaker. Fortunately it's not as big of an issue now since the guy lives out of state.

My husband has a friend that he met when he was in middle school. This guy is very arrogant and always has to one up my husband. (For example when we bought a new home then he had to buy a bigger home). This guy is so obnoxious that when he found out my husband and I got married he tried to talk my husband into leaving me because he didn't want to be a bachelor alone. We have had some major fights over this guy but I have learned that I need to give my husband his friend time so I plan a girl's night when he wants to go hang out with him.

Yeah, he's got one I don't care for! He just comes off as really sneaky. One day money came up missing, he says things to me that make me think twice! No surprise he's in jail now for running firearms up the east coast! HA!

i have a gf with friends i cant stand. there is this girl that insults me in ways i have no defense against because she is a girl. she says i would get my *** kicked in a fight, and its not like i can throw down with her. all kinds of other stuff. she said i probably had a small wang and then got drunk at my house. i laid it across her face while she was wide mouthed and snoring and had my friend take a pic. i'm gonna post it on the internet when i get a cable for my camera.

I can't stand either of my husbands friends. But I don't hang out with them, and they don't hang around our home. I can't choose his friends for him, and he can't choose mine. It's just a fact and we live with it. He can go hang with them whenever he wants, he is very considerate and doesn't abuse it.
all in all it really hasn't effected us.
