That's your perception? You need to work on your self esteem. Then you won't make such generalizations.

I Know I'm going to get a lot of Thumbs down on this one. The Truth Needs to Be Told! African Americans Really Need to take a long hard look into the Mirror and start pointing the finger at themselves! Every other racial group sticks together, while African Americans cheat each other, stick each other up, destroy their own neighborhoods, lie on each other out of jealousy and malign each other. Respect is Earned! Listen to the music that is pure filth and the images portraying African American Women and Men for that fact, it's disgusting and sick. Look at how women are belittled on every front and Quickly called Men, when they don't go along to get along! Those that seek a better life or an Education are torn down and ridiculed.
All people of various ethnic groups don't feel the same or are bigoted. Why are African Americans Still comparing hair, skin color among thenselves?
Civil Rights Groups don't take cases to court because they may not feel those cases submitted by TRUE victims of racism, discrimination and harrassment are important enough. Some Don't belong to certain cliques and are dismissed as being less than themselves! Those cliques If they do not see anyway to line their own greedy pockets, leave those others hanging! . Just the other day an Award was given to people that don't even speak English in the amount of $850,000.00. You can't blame anybody else but the African American Community that Is in Fact catering to the basest part of themselves and are happy wallowing in self pity! Until there is an awakening and self respect is found, it will be that way.
In the Meantime, The National Action Network, Operation Push, the NAACP, The fraternities and sororities, the Urban League and other groups need to go away and Find their own Self worth! Why are African Americans STILL comparing themselves with anyone? Respect from any group is EARNED Even within the Same Group!

People who are racist are mentally ill.
Your question cannot apply to ALL white people because all white people don't feel the way you have assumed.
My experience as white person is that many "African Americans" are prejudiced against white people. I am a friendly person. I like to speak to people when I'm in public. Almost every time I try being friendly with an African American person, they snub me.
Why do African Americans think they're so much better than white people? And why do they blame any negative experience that happens to them on the fact that they have a darker skin color? What's up with that? Race card excuse?

What century are you in? White people don't think they're better than African Americans. How long are people like you going to club "white" people over the head for mistakes made in HISTORY? Not to mention ones who have NOTHING to do with any of it. Kind of clubbing an already dead horse aren't you? SOME might still be under that cloud of stupidity but ALL don't think like that.

Why do African Americans have such an inferiority complex.
when it comes to whites.
As far as I'm concerned anybody who goes around at night in disguise terrorizing a group of people or discriminates against said people in ways that are more socially acceptable and done in the light of day and say they are doing it in the name of the white race are not speaking for me or anybody I call friend or family. So to all the African Americans who still have a chip on their shoulder for the last time I am sorry for what happened and still is happening it was and is wrong. I am not doing it I don't associate with those who are and I speak out against it whenever I can. so please quit thinking of me as the enemy.

For the same reason all black people can dance better than white people, and hispanics all have lowriders, and asians are all bad drivers, and all native americans are drunks, and all irish are drunks, and all the british have bad teeth, and all americans are fat, and all africans are starving, and all middle easteners are terrorists, and all germans are secretly nazi sympathizers, and all christians are pro life, and all muslims hate the USA, and all "your preferred ethnic/ race/ disabled group here" are stupid.
Did I leave anyone out?

OK, predjudiced much??? I am white and I do not think I am better than African Americans. As a matter of fact, 2 of my dearest friends are from Ghana, and I envy their education and success in life. I also love them very much.

First off, why are you in Yahoo Answers trying to start racial arguments?
Actually, I don't know many people who feel this way. I was the minority in my high school. I will say that I know Black people that think they should be treated "special" at work. I can also go to towns I have never been in before and tell you the Black area. They all have bars on the business windows. Nothing personal, but you asked.

I'm white, but I can only speak for myself: I don't think I'm better than African Americans, I'm certain I'm better than most people of ANY creed, color, sex, or age....I'm just that good.

Most don't really think this way these days because it is racism. But some people think this way because of the world ranking, appearance and history.
