What are you talking about? I'm a Democrat and a hunter.. I live in the South and own many guns.
Most liberals are conservationists.. that means we recognize the value of regulated hunting as a part of protecting ecosystems.

I think the animal f@rts you refer to are from dairy cows not from rabbits, squirrels, and deer. I do not support hunting and I believe that anyone that hunts and kills innocent animals for pleasure with high powered rifles or bow and arrows and thinks it an even match has a severe mental problem.

I support hunting (and I don't even eat meat anymore)...
But the catch is, without environmental protections, how do you expect to be able to hunt and fish. In fact, many hunters I know personally are highly concerned about rampant development, pollution, etc that jeopardizes those ecosystems...

Nope. But if hunters need to prove their "man hood" by killing a oh-so-dangerous deer, well then I guess that's their problem, but I don't support it. I'm a vegetarian and an animal rights activist and don't believe in the senseless killing of any animals.

1st part of your statement is BS. I grew up with hunters. I didn't know about store bought meat until I was older. You may be surprised how many of us have guns and freezers full of elk, venison, etc.

Could it be from all of the refried beans and burritos that we Americans are eating?
