acting help??

do you have to be pretty to become an actress because i feel that im losing confidence into becoming an actress as im not as pretty as the other actresses should i continue or not please help and give any advice please x

Actors come in all looks, shapes & sizes. Watch any movie and you'll someone who's not very good looking, someone who's overweight, etc. Sometimes it's more a matter of, do you look like you could be the child of these two actors... There's a place for every type, you just have to be good and be the type that they're looking for at that very moment. Go for it, the stars may align for you!

it actually depends because some people don't care if you can act or not as long as you are pretty, but you don't have to be. If you are not as pretty as other actresses act like you are, cause if you let that bring you down it will be harder for you, plus lots of actresses wear alot of makeup and stuff.
Remember don't compare yourself to anyone
you are great just the way you are.

No, you don't have to be pretty, you just have to be good at acting, and have the confidence that comes from knowing you are good at it. It's not an easy career path, so the best advice I can give you comes from the movie FAME: "You had better like yourself a LOT, because it's all you've got."

Not if you are (a) very very good at acting and/or (b) interesting looking enough.

Only you can decide if you should continue.

Jeez...............I have been doing this for way longer than you have been alive, and I am NOT pretty, or even handsome.

Look inside to act, not outside. If you judge your worth by the magazines, I guarantee you will be disappointed.

Act for fun. Forget about fame. It ain't worth it, especially these days.
