I started taking Kariva about a month ago. I'm on my 2nd pack.. almost the 2nd week. There are the white pills for 3 weeks...with hormones I'm assuming.. then 2 green pills w/o hormones and 5 blue pills that have hormones. My last brand of bc didnt have different color pills.. they had the same hormones for all 28 days so starting Kariva has confused me, because I thought that I would get my period when the blue pills started.. but nothing happened. Then I thought maybe it would be when the pack ended.. and still no period. I read the little pamphlet thing that came with the pills and it didn't say anything about when you should expect to get your period. I was wondering if anyone could give me information on this brand of birth control.

I've been on it for 1 1/2 years.
You need to give yourself a few pill packs for your cycle and your body to regulate with the hormones.
I did not get ANY period until my third pill pack, and then it was light and lasted a few days.

I had that, it usually started with the second day of the colored pills.
i'd call a doctor if I was you, just in case. I always got my period on kariva...
