Vaginal itch?
I have had this for weeks.
There is no way it could be an STD (yes, I am sure)
I tried: yogurt (for a couple days)
vagisil (works for a few hours)
yeast infection medicine
neosporin
I havent changed soap, detergent, medicine
There is no smell, discharge, and it looks normal.
My little boy had a (drug resistant) staph infection on his foot a while ago. I could have accidently touched his foot and forgot to wash my hands before I went to the bathroom.
Has anyone had something like this before?

Have you asked your doctor? You'd be more likely to get an accorate diagnosis from him instead of anyone on Yahoo.

Ok, lets be logical...If you had the same infection as your little lad you would be very inflamed, sore and also probably have a temperature. I don't think it is likely you have contracted this.
Sometimes yeast infections can be VERY resistant and recur often. Maybe a trip to the Dr may help?
Also, sometimes, you just develop an itch with little or no explanation and then antihistamines can help and then.....
Is the itch worse at night in bed or when you get warm and cosy? Does anyone else have similar symptoms anywhere else on their body? Well don't freak but have you ever heard of scabies? I will leave it you to read up on this one.......

Hope this helps...the bottom line is, you best see a Dr and let him take a look!

That's a tough one. No I don't think is staph infection. But some times when you have intercourse and you are not fully lubricated it irritates the vaginal skin, and causes intense itch that can stay for weeks. If this is the case use KY jelly next time to avoid more irritation.

you used neosporin on your vagina???? whoa... not a good idea. I would definitely go see a doctor. Occasional vaginal itch is common but not all the time where you are very uncomfortable. If you don't have unprotected sex then you definitely don't have an STD.. so see a dr. for some advice/

Contact your doctor. He can call something in for you that will be stronger than anything you can get over the counter. Have you been on any antibiotics lately? They have a tendancy to cause yeast infections.

Vaginal itching isn't necessarily yeast, it can also be fungal, or bacterial.
Your OBGYN is the only one who will know which one it is, and what treatment is best.

Have you seen a doctor?!?!? This sounds serious if nothing over the counter is helping.
